Lori Harvey was born in the United States. The actress is the child of Steve Harvey who is a comedian, TV host, radio personality and actor. Through his present third wife Marjorie Bridges, a fashion blogger and designer, she is also Steve Harvey's stepdaughter. Lori is rumored to be the biological child of Donnell Woods.
